i created this blog with the intention of it being wordless, but i couldn't pass up the chance of sharing an amazing article on one of my all time favourite bands, lcd soundsystem. sadly, this amazing group of human beings will be closing up shop officially this weekend with their final gig at madison square garden. to say i'm sad is an understatement but i guess all good things must come to and end. i was lucky enough to see them twice last year and once again this year at big day out where i copped a big thumbs up from lead man, james murphy. how do i know it was aimed at me amongst the hundreds of other festival goers? i was by myself, front and centre, jumping up and down like a gazelle, yelling every lyric from start to finish whilst everyone around me stood still and stared at me like i was some kind of freak. im no freak, i just fucking loving lcd soundsystem.
